My friends and I are having a Battle of the Bands -- my own buddies and I fall into the genres of glam rock and punk.
Since this will be our first show {and we're not rich enough to actually hire real assistants...}, we've never really fooled around with our style.
So, a few questions.
a. Can regular cosmetics {eye shadow and so forth} be applied to the regular skin, like cheeks or forehead?
b. What sort of stuff could you apply to the afore-mentioned areas {i.e. not lip gloss} would also have glitter in it?
c. Hair glue or gel -- is there a difference, pros and cons?
d. If anyone knows some really fabulous/weird hairstyles out there that fits into our concept, please let me know.
Thanks so much!A query involving both hair and cosmetics?
a) yes, you can use eyeshadow as a blush, but i don't recommend putting it on your lips(it looks cakey). the most versatile makeup product i would recommend is blush (eyes, cheeks, and lips) lipstick works well too.
b) i would try a roll on glitter stick, you can buy it at claires.
c) glue is alot stronger, used for things like mohawks, gel is lighter, used to shape things and gives a wet look.
d) i think you should do a Marilyn Monroe type hairstyle and then glammed up glittery makeup.A query involving both hair and cosmetics?
I'm also play in couple of bands. What I've learn is just wear what you normally wear because if you aren't comfortable and happy in what you wear you aren't going to have a good set.I learned that the hard way.

Is this a good set of supplies for school(cosmetics & hair, not pencils =))?
- Wet n Wild Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer in Natural color.
- Aussie Sun-Touched Shine Conditioning Spray
- Real Life Nails by Broadway Nails
- Covergirl Wetslicks lipgloss
I need a new foundation, which is what the wet n wild product is for, and I saw in seventeen that the aussie stuff is cheap and good for touchups at school. Plus my nails are awful so i wanna try real life nails, and are wetslicks a good product?
What I want to know:
- are wetslicks a good product?
- are real life nails decent?
- is this a good foundation for fair skin?
- what are the prices of these products? Is this a good set of supplies for school(cosmetics %26amp; hair, not pencils =))?
-Wetslicks are great - I like the FruitSpritzers in Berry splash
-I used the nails before the summer for a dance. They are decent and last a week for me, but make sure you buy them the extra short lenght so it looks more natural
-Ive tried the foundation. I like it beacuse its not heavy like regular foundation, it feels like moisturizer and makes your skin soft but you still get good coverage
-The spary is pretty good, i use it when i go to the beach and it keeps my hair from frizzing like crazy. Its cheap and it works
At my drugstore:
-Wet n Wild Ultimate Sheer Tinted Moisturizer in Natural color about 4$
-Real Life Nails by Broadway Nails
-Aussie Sun-Touched Shine Conditioning Spray about 4.50
Covergirl Wetslicks lipgloss 6$
-Real Life Nails by Broadway Nails 7$
Hope that helps and have a great school year :)Is this a good set of supplies for school(cosmetics %26amp; hair, not pencils =))?
It sounds like you've done your research very well. If I were you I would consider splurging on cosmetics though becuase they will last longer and they are less likley to hurt or give your skin rashes. If some people use cheap make up they might break out in rashes. Wet sticks are a good product, but I would also recommend a lip stain instead of gloss because it lasts longer and is less likley to chap your lips. Sephora has great ones such as the stila cherry lip stain.
As for foundation for fair skin I would also check out philosophy at sephora, but everything sounds great! You could also used a tinted mosturizer so it doesn't clog your pores and it hydrates your skin.
Yeah those sound like good products. Wait what exactly is the aussie stuff what issue did you read it in?earrings for wholesale

Have your cosmetic and hair dye stocks gone up since emo became a fad?
My girlfriend uses a dark hair dye and since Emoism has hit mother earth there's been times when you cant find the stuff.Have your cosmetic and hair dye stocks gone up since emo became a fad?
Although it may seem a big fad to you since you are living in it, in the realm of a global marketplace, emoism isn't even a blip on financial radar.

How can i remove the hair on my hands and legs without using any cosmetics?
For permanent removal try laser or elctrolysis.
For temporary you could wax or shave.
You could try nair but I hate the smell.

How can i give my hair more volume that stays ALL DAY LONG but without too many cosmetics?
Let gravity help you out! Style it upside down, blow drying or whatever your routine is. I would suggest using some hair spray - you dont have to use a lot if you use it right. Try spraying it closer to your roots whie upside down, rather then the ends. Its the roots after all that are going to decide where the rest of your hair falls! Try scrunching your hair with your fingers - whether curly or straight this can help boost your hair; while still upside down let the ends of your hair fall into your palms and then close your hands as you push your handfuls of hair towards your scalp.
You can also try massaging your roots while you shampoo your hair. Don't scratch but rather massage your scalp - this can help stimulate circulation which can awaken your roots and keep them on duty longer lol.
Lastly - you can try the old fashioned tousle, use a tousle comb and lightly push the roots of your hair backwards several times. Not too much, an afro may not be what you're looking for lol. Oh - and do this one standing straight up!
Throughout the day you can give you hair a quick boost by flipping it upside down and doing that scrunch thing again. How can i give my hair more volume that stays ALL DAY LONG but without too many cosmetics?
firstly use a good volume and shampoo , its the first step to lush hair with a lot of volume then rather than straighten your hair hair dry it as straightening it flattens it ! then use a good hair cream after and tadaa perfect hair everyday with extra volume xHow can i give my hair more volume that stays ALL DAY LONG but without too many cosmetics?
cosmetics = makeup not hair product
product = hair supplies (shampoo, conditioner, etc)
try volumizing shampoo. when you style your hair, make sure that your hair is still wet (and brushed) get a small amount of mouse and add it in all over (PRIMARILY the roots) and then blow dry your hair
My hairdresser has told me that if you flip your hair over your head and dry it, especially really well at the roots like this, it will give you more volume naturally. It has worked for me! I also usually flip my head upside down and give it a light brushing of hairspray (because I hate the feel of it if there is too much!). I love the body it gives my hair!
Using the same shampoo day in - day out will make your hair dull and lifeless eventually, try alternating between 2 or 3 of your best or favourite ones. That should help.
